My darling sister Amaka will going to Texas for 3+ months fulfilling a life long ambition working with Reprieve at the Texas Defender Centre in Houston. Reprieve is an international organisation that was founded by a British human rights lawyer with a view to provide free legal support to vulnerable people.
Amaka will be supporting those who are on death row in the USA and will be starting in September. Amaka’s decision to give up so much of her time to undertake a totally selfless task is truly inspirational, and we want to support her. Amaka is taking an unpaid sabbatical leave to support the charity Reprieve.
