One-year-old Amaiyah Grace is fighting for her life at Children's Hospital following a tragic accident involving baby oil ingestion. This precious little girl's journey began on September 23rd when what started as a routine bath time by her older sibling turned into a dire situation.

Despite initial reassurance from poison control, Amaiyah's condition quickly worsened, leading to multiple emergency room visits due to high fever and labored breathing. When treatments at the local ER proved insufficient, her primary care physician immediately recognized the severity of her condition and directed her to Children's Hospital, where she has remained since September 25th.

Throughout her hospitalization, Amaiyah has shown remarkable resilience while undergoing intensive medical interventions, including ventilation support and a tracheostomy to help her damaged lungs heal. Now, her medical team is recommending transfer to Cincinnati Children's Hospital for specialized care, including a biopsy and possible lung transplant.

Adding to this challenging situation, Amaiyah's mother, Stephanie, is navigating the difficult transition to single parenthood while caring for five children.
