Frontline Smoothies by The Farmacy Cafe is putting superfood smoothies into the hands of brave healthcare workers on the frontline of the pandemic in Boston. Our goal is to provide 500+ smoothies a week to area hospitals until the fight is over.
Your donation of a $6 smoothie will not only provide a smile after a long shift, but will also provide workers with some of the essential nutrients and superfoods needed for optimal immune and overall health.
Examples of the smoothies we are providing:
- Protein Prana: mango, hemp protein, spirulina, spinach, lemon, organic coconut milk (vegan, GF, nut free)
- Orange Dream: fresh squeezed orange juice, banana, turmeric, black pepper, bee pollen, vanilla bean (vegan, GF, nut free)
A $6 donation buys 1 smoothie for a healthcare worker. All smoothies will be delivered safely following hospital protocols. Help us provide important nourishment to the incredible people risking their health to protect ours!
On April 9th alone we brought 100+ smoothies to doctors and nurses at Beth Israel Deaconess and with your help we can increase that number ten fold. “People went nuts over these, they were all given to the emergency department and one of the COVID ICUs.” - Caroline, Volunteer Nurse.
