Hi, 7 years ago my Dad was Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Since then we have been on a very interesting journey trying to come to terms with his disease and supporting him as much as we can.

My Dad still lives at home with my Mum but as the disease has progressed it has become more and more difficult for my mum to care for him on her own.

My Mum relies on Support groups to break up her days and give my Dad some structure.

We are trying to raise some money for one of the groups he attends “Forget me Knotts” My Youngest son Ted is doing a charity zip wire at Trent bridge on the 7th September. All the funds we raise will go towards the running of this group and will be hugely appreciated as these groups only manage to run through fundraising.
