Alyssa's Plea: Aid for Mom's Tumor Treatment
Donation protected
My name's Alyssa. On Christmas Eve, I found out that my mom, Courtney, has 2 brain tumors, and one is not in the best spot. She has to have 30 radiation treatments as surgery is completely out of the picture due to the location and will result in a scenario that I cannot even type out because the thought of what would happen is so gut-wrenching. She is going to run into some problems. I don’t want to go into too much detail as it is a personal matter; however, I feel very helpless. I want to do something. I know I can’t help medically, but if I can help raise money for my mom for bills/treatments and things that are going to be needed during and after, then at least I can say I tried.
My mom is my best friend and she’s still so young. She doesn’t deserve this or to go through something like this, and I will be lost without her. She is the most loving, caring human I’ve met on this planet and would do absolutely anything for anyone. For those who know my mom, they know exactly what I am talking about.
Anything helps. Anything is appreciated. Life works in mysterious ways, and you never think something like this could happen to you or a loved one, but unfortunately, it does, and we can’t pick the hands we’re dealt. I love my mom so much, and I need her around forever to watch my daughter grow up and be by my side through this crazy thing we call life.
To anyone that can donate, I just want you to know that I appreciate it so much. I have never done one of these, but as I stated before, I feel so helpless and lost. I just need to do SOMETHING.
