Alyssa Strong: Help Us Support Alyssa Luis and Her Family

Hi, we’re Julia and Sara Lewis, and we’ve created this fundraiser to support our amazing friend Alyssa Luis and family bravely navigate this difficult chapter in their lives.

Alyssa is my (Julia’s) best friend and has always been like an older sister to Sara. She’s currently battling stage 4 brain cancer after being diagnosed with a rare and aggressive tumor called Diffuse Midline Glioma with H3K27M alteration. The tumor is located deep in her brain and is affecting many of her physical abilities.

Despite this heartbreaking diagnosis, Alyssa remains incredibly strong. Her courage, faith, and determination inspire everyone around her.

That’s why we call this fundraiser “Alyssa Strong” because her strength, along with the love and support from her family, friends, and faith, are helping her push through each day.

All proceeds will go directly to Alyssa and her family to help with medical expenses, travel costs, and everyday needs as they navigate this difficult journey. Proceeds will also go to brain cancer research as well.

We’re also hosting Alyssa’s Car Meet on July 5, 2025, with tickets available for $10. If you can’t attend but would still like to show your support, any donation—no matter the amount—means so much.
