Help us leave our unsafe housing situation

Hi everyone, I typically will not do anything like this, but I am feeling really overwhelmed right now. On early Sundy morning (1/5) there was a domestic violence situation at my apartment complex. The property I live at has gotten increasingly less safe over the course of the last 22 months I have lived there. There is no management on the property (and no secure entry anymore as someone has smashed in the front door of the building so it no longer locks) and they are nearly impossible to reach. The incident involved a large family of about 7 people, including a young child who was screaming in fear. I recorded the incident as proof of DV for both my leasing company as well as the police. When the family noticed I was filming they shouted threats and sent grown men up to my apartment who then proceeded to bang on my door for me to delete the videos (which I absolutely will NOT be doing). I was terrified and all alone, thank God Storm was with his dad the night of this incident, so he was not in direct danger. As most of you know, I am a single mom with a three-year-old and I feel incredible unsafe staying at this complex now.

The family in question lives on the first floor, where our laundry room is, and I am too scared to even go down there now to clean my clothes. I filed a police report and contacted my building manager as well as the corporate management company, and no one has called me back. Luckily, my lease is up the first week of March, however, given the situation I am trying to move my son and I out immediately. Given that my leasing company will not return numerous calls, I am unsure as to if they will allow me to terminate my leasing contract without paying the immense amount highlighted in my lease. Although I was not the direct victim of DV (as stated for grounds of lease termination in my lease) I feel extremely threatened and unsafe staying where I am for more than even a week or so.

On top of the stress of moving I also had to replace my tires and get work done on my car unexpectedly, so it just feels like all of these expenses are slamming down on me right after the holidays.
