Our Story

My name is Jo-Anne Alvarez, and my husband, Rafael, and I are on a mission to adopt our twin nieces from South Africa. Their story is heartbreaking—born into a world of uncertainty, they tragically lost their mother just weeks after birth. Their father—my brother—is blind and unable to care for them, leaving them in foster care.

As an adoptee myself, I know firsthand the power of love, stability, and family. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to ensuring these precious girls don’t grow up without a home.
