New to Altadena, having just moved here 3 weeks ago from Mississippi,  Damien was walking to work this morning at Grocery Outlet, when he was robbed at gunpoint.  The assailants made off with his wallet and cell phone.  The community of Altadena is coming together to raise funds for a new cell phone and a year's worth of service. From the Altadena Sheriff's Station: A robbery occurred on 10/10/20 at approximately 6:10 am near the intersection of Altadena Drive and Marengo Avenue in Altadena. A dark handgun was used, and the victim’s cellphone and wallet were stolen. The victim suffered a facial injury due to being struck by the handgun. The suspect is described as a male Black adult, approximately 30 years old. The suspect was last seen entering the passenger side of a dark colored Ford Mustang, driven by an unknown person.
