My name is Alpha Shaka Yaya, Pan-African activist, president of Jeunesse Interconnectée et Fusionnée d'Afrique (Interconnected and United Youth of Africa) – Guinea section, and president of the communications unit for the 10th edition of the Festival International Panafricain de Nguékhokh (FIPAN), which will be held from October 1 to 20, 2025, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
FIPAN is a space for exchange, dialogue, sharing, and learning that allows Africans from all corners of the continent and its diaspora to discuss issues related to the continent's development.
This year, the meeting will take place in the AES (Alliance of Sahel States) space under the theme:
“The challenge of African economic sovereignty: the practical case of the AES.”
My participation is very important because, as chair of the communications committee, I am responsible for managing the communications team to ensure effective operations for the festival.
AddItionally, it will allow me to:
• deepen my pan-African commitment,
• actively contribute to strategic debates,
• and above all, advance my project to create a pan-African platform bringing together several international organizations to work towards the freedom and unity of the conscious black world.
However, since my arrival in the United States, I have faced administrative difficulties that have prevented me from working legally. This has limited my financial resources to cover the costs of travel and participation in this continental meeting.
This is why I'm reaching out to the community to help me.
