ALONE WE CAN DO VERY LITTLE BUT TOGETHER KEEP YEIE OPEN

My name is Dorene Marcus Corothers, Founder and CEO of You Eat I Eat Community Unity Food Pantry Corp. We are a non-profit organization that opened in 2015, assisting thousands facing food insecurities each year solely by volunteers.

To raise funds for operational expenses, we host Food Drive Fundraiser events to assist with paying the rent, utilities, food, and other needed expenses to operate.

Most grant funds received go directly to the community, but food drive monetary blessings go to keeping our doors open.

My husband broke his hip last week and is now in rehabilitation, with a long, painful journey ahead of him to be able to walk again.

I will no longer be able to be away from him, so all fundraisers have been canceled.

If we join together, we can keep the YEIE doors open until I am able to go back out and work 60 hours a week.

Donations received will pay rent, utilities, purchase non-perishable foods, YEIE Goodie Bags supplies for our After School Program, and so much more.

Without monetary contributions to assist me while I help my husband, YEIE will have to close its doors.
