We have decided to set up this GoFundMe for my dad who is 55 years young. He has recently been diagnosed with incurable cancer and while our dad continues to fight as he has done twice already, as a family we would love to be able to allow him to live life to the fullest. He has dedicated his life to his wife, kids and grandchildren and never really done anything for him. So now it’s his turn.

Story: In 2023 our dad went for his routine diabetes blood test, which indicated something wrong with his liver, he had more test which led him to having a colonoscopy in February 2024, that’s where they found a large tumor in his bowel. He was told that he could have an operation, it hadn’t spread so quite a straightforward procedure. In April 2024 the surgery was successful, he underwent Chemotherapy and by September 2024, he had recovered really well. Until April 2025 he had a MRI, we got the results in the May..he has a 5cm tumor in his liver. Again, this was confirmed they would remove 20% of the liver, it hadn’t spread and wouldn’t need chemo this time. July 2025 came, our dad had his operation. Recovery was great. He got the all clear for the 2nd time..

The day before dad’s birthday on 1st November 2025, dad had another MRI as well as blood tests. He had a phone call saying he had an appointment to discuss his results on the 13th. Unaware that this appointment was going to break our hearts. Unfortunately, they had found that the cancer is back, this time in the whole liver and its spread to his abdomin lining, meaning hes incurable. He has a road ahead of him now kicking cancers ass, having treatment and living his best life while doing so.

That day my dad broke and his world fell from beneath him. All we want it to be able to repay all his love doing whatever we can. Anyone who knows my dad, knows he has put himself last to far to long.
