I'm raising money for Allia. First of all she would kill me if she knew that I was doing this so I beg for your discretion. If I'm sending this to you it is only because you know her and what an amazing heart she has. This fundraiser is 100% private so please do not share. You may not know that Allia hasnt been able to walk on her own now for over a year. she has been using a walker and/or a walking cane on the "good days." She is rapidly losing the ability to walk on her own and maybe have to be bound to a wheelchair soon as the condition worsens. She has been seeing a team of doctors over the last year and they have tested for everything including cancer to figure out why she can't walk. So far, the orthopedic doctor has determinded hip dysplasia, torn labrum, hip impingemnet, and there is a cyst on her bone. The Rheumatologist and Hematologist will know more once they have her hip exposed during surgery. On June 6th she will have her Labrum repair, where they will also cut some of the bone to check for arthritus. This surgery will be followed by a total hip replacement on June 21st. We are praying that the hematologist does not find any blood disorders and the surgery will help her walk again. With this being said. Allia is the bread winner of her household and this surgery will keep her from working for a minimum of 2 months. I am asking for help for her and her family during these trying times. Even something as little as $10 will help with food so that Lorena can just worry about helping Allia. If you do not have the means to donate, please just continue to pray that she will be able to walk again after this surgery.
