#AllforJoe 300 miles of Ultra marathon racing

"Hey everyone,

I'm back at it, taking on a new challenge to raise money and awareness for our charity #AllforJoe! It’s been a tough road – I haven’t done any running since I faced a tough setback at the Hardmoors 110-mile race and battled bursitis with sepsis. But now, I'm ready to lace up my shoes and push forward again.

This isn’t just about getting back out there – it’s about pushing through and showing that setbacks don’t define us. Every step I take is for Joe and his charity #AllforJoe, and I’d love your support along the way. Let’s do this together and make a real difference!

***Charity update***

So we have been busy setting up a new charity in our Amazing Joes memory! #AllforJoe is awaiting approval from the government to become a registered charity. We thought so hard how to honour our Joe

So the charity aims to provide financial support thru various fund raising to enable disabled people to participate in sports and/arts, encouraging inclusion and integration with abled bodied groups. We hope to educate coaches and fellow athletes on session modifications to allow for integration and to make sure everyone understands how important it is that everyone is included. We hope to help set up more varied sessions for ppl with disabilities to encourage participation and overall by doing all of the above we hope to improve the well being of people and help improve mental health.

Joe fought so so hard to be included. We travelled far and wide for Joe to reach his dreams yet if he was abled bodied he could have travelled 5 mins up the road. Not everyone is able to dedicate time and money to ensure inclusion to reach their dreams. Joe was an outstanding swimmer and footballer (he even out ran most of his classmates) yet he spent all of his life fighting to earn his place in society. If he did bad he was taunted for being disabled and rubbish... when he did good he was picked on as society felt threatened by him! What a world

Everyone deserves to be treat equally and with dignity. Everyone needs purpose and a dream... what is life without a dream!

All the money raised so far is banked in #AllforJoe account ready for when #AllforJoe is approved. If anyone is wanting to help raise funds or fundraise in Joe's memory we would be hugely grateful that it is for Joes charity. As soon as we get the charity no. Fundraising will be more streamline but until then fundraising platforms can be used and funds go straight into the charity account.

Again we would like to thank everyone for their love and support since we lost our beautiful Son Joe. Our hearts will be broken forever and the world will always feel so empty without Joe in it!

We proudly stood side by side with Joe for 16 yrs... fighting hard for him to be accepted and included hoping the world would one day see just how amazing and inspirational our Joe was. We were lucky to see him shining every single day and we want to help others like Joe to shine and be shown the kindness and dignity our Joe deserved.
