Help us during this difficult time

What was supposed to be an expecting couples’ most joyous memory at their anatomy scan for their first child - a baby boy, Layne Matthew - turned into an absolute nightmare for my oldest son and his long time girlfriend when it was discovered at a little over 20 weeks gestation that their unborn son has bilateral renial agenesis, meaning he does not have any kidneys and is unable to create amniotic fluid. His condition is fatal.
My son, despite having a fulltime job does not have any coverage or insurance to help cover his time off work. His job is working with the dates he needs off with no pay or limited pay which is quickly being exhausted.
We are seeking help to assist the family financially during this devastating time and to alleviate outside financial stresses.
In light of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month, we all have been faced with the unimaginable heartbreak of experiencing it first hand - going from planning a baby shower for my first grand baby to now planning end of life care.
Any amount you can manage will help tremendously. There is power in numbers, and my son and family need all the love they can get right now. Thank you for taking the time to read their story.
