Allen Barron’s boys

As most know Allen has been in the hospital 3 weeks now with pneumonia and a rare influenza bacterial infection HIB that usually only happens in children. He has remained on a ventilator and per Dr's and nurses, he is the sickest person in ICU. As one day he may improve, he declines in others the next. He has continued a fever daily, has since had to have a trach to assist with the ventilator as you can only be on a ventilator no more than 14 days to prevent damaging his vocal cords. He has been heavily sedated since arriving to try and help his body heal. At this time his infections have improved, but now he has a new infection in the trach incision. They have tried lower his peep settings numerous times to only have to raise it as his lungs are having trouble wanting to operate correctly. We are hoping for a miracle to happen and he just wake up and say " I'm good now" but we are a long way from that point. We would greatly appreciate any help you could provide even if just prayer for healing and his children. The last thing he needs coming out of this is having to worry about if he still has a home. His children need help to stay afloat and his youngest son to be able to finish out his senior year without any more stress than they already have without their dad right now.
