Raising Funds for Flood Relief
The Allegheny Highland Prosperity Foundation is raising funds to support members of our community impacted by the devastating floods that have deeply affected our hometown and the surrounding areas. Our initial goal is to raise $5,000 to provide critical relief to local families and businesses in need.
How Your Support Helps
These funds will help us mobilize manpower and equipment to:
-Clear roads and driveways
-Remove debris and mud ️
-Stabilize households facing immediate hardship
With your support, we aim to bring swift and meaningful help to those who need it most.
Our Journey ️
This mission began after we spent time in Tennessee and North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Witnessing that level of devastation firsthand moved us to take action. We founded this organization to stand by our fellow Appalachians in their most difficult times—because we knew that if it ever happened here, they’d show up for us.
Our communities in Allegany and Mineral counties came together in a way we could have never imagined, sending support in every form—donations, supplies, and willing hands. The unity was humbling and inspiring.
But Now It’s Our Turn
None of us expected what came next. Less than a year after our founding, and after Hurricane Helene, floodwaters swept through our own towns. Now, it’s our turn to rely on the strength we helped build. We’re here to do exactly what we promised: take care of our own.
Flooded but Not Forgotten!
If you are in a position to do so:
Help us lift our neighbors up—donate, volunteer, or share.
