What began as a group of like-minded individuals, many years ago, wanting to support the Democratic principles, has brought the All Wool and a Yard Wide Democratic Club, in 2023, to a 125-year celebration from its inception, in 1898, in Louisville, Kentucky's Schnitzelburg neighborhood.

The Club's long history of support for the Democratic cause, and large event footprint, have made it a go-to site in the neighborhood for fun, good food, and socialization. We pride ourselves in being a place to come and meet the candidates face-to-face and ask questions as they seek support for their election.

Support of the Democratic Party is needed now, more than ever, as is your support so that we can continue. It's a way for you to do your part. Our property was purchased in 1946, making us, still, the only Democratic Club in Louisville that owns its property. With that ownership comes many financial responsibilities.

Just as with most businesses, the limits imposed on the Club by the spread of Covid have strained our resources since our fundraising events were put on hold for over two years. As well, the aging of the Club property has imposed on us several expensive, necessary improvements.

We ask for your support in meeting these expenses so that we can continue in our support of the Democratic cause, and continue as an integral part of the up-and-coming Schnitzelburg neighborhood.
