All Ireland 32 County Peak Challenge

Donation protected

Hi guys! This April, I, Philip Stewart and Chris Forsythe will set out to climb to the highest point in each of the overall 32 counties within Northern Ireland and Ireland over one long weekend. This challenge will be in aid of Brain Injury Matters and Parkinson's UK. We will start in County Mayo Mweelrea Mnt. and finish in County Donegal with Mount Errigal. We will cover 180km in total and climb 10,250 metres in elevation.

Myself and Chris have been great friends for a number of years and have taken on a few big challenges in aid of our chosen charities but this is by far the hardest challenge we've set ourselves. A huge part of our relationship revolves around hiking and seeking adventures so we thought this was a great chance to visit some of the nicest areas our country has to offer while setting ourselves a hard task to overcome for 2 incredible charities which makes it all worthwhile.

Please consider making a donation to support us and to support these charities that are very close to our hearts. No contribution is too small as every donation helps someone in need and allows both charities to continue to do amazing things.

Due to the scale of this fundraiser we are seeking a number of sponsors from individuals, businesses or teams/groups to make this possible as there are a number of factors that we need help with such as fuel and nutrition as we will be constantly driving between each county and needing to refuel our bodies and car as we go. Please pass this fundraiser on to anyone that you think might be able to help in any way, it is very much appreciated. Any sponsors will be added on to our fundraising kit and on all of our social media posts etc. (Contact myself, Philip or Chris in regards to this)

Brain Injury Matters has played a huge roll in my brother James' life. After being in a car accident he suffered a very serious brain injury and they have given him a quality of life that we never thought was possible with incredible opportunities. It has been an amazing few years for James' development, seeing him perform in a number of shows in The Lyric Theatre in Belfast and also publish a number of art pieces in galleries across Belfast. They continue to do amazing things for so many service users and their families and we are forever grateful for the time and effort they put in on a daily basis.

Parkinson's disease is a relentless opponent, affecting millions worldwide, including Chris' Papa Brian, who has been battling this condition for 10 years. Seeing the impact this disease has had on his life has inspired Chris to take action and make a difference. Chris is an avid hiker and this wouldn't have been the case if it wasn't for his Papa Brian who took Chris up the Mournes from as young as 4 years old. He taught Chris to enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty that the mountains offer and he's forever grateful for that.
