All funds will go towards a new roof!!!

Hi, my name is Graham, and I am a frequent attendee at the phoenix community centre in Easterhouse. This is in the heart of the community, and is widely used by local people of all ages. Activities such as chair yoga, boxing, table tennis, badminton, bike rides, wilderness walking groups,bingo, domino's, darts, pool, to name but a few, attract locals, and create a safe friendly environment where people can chat, and take part in events throughout the week.

The center is so important to the community, and provides numerous benifits, people depend on this center, they look forward to attending on a daily basis. The guys and girls that run the center are unbelievable at what the do, the set up is second to none. They work tirelessly to bring new ventures to the center, to enable them to cater for all ages.

However through time, wear and tear plays it's part, and we rely on generous donations to help maintain the standards to provide a safe environment for our members. Our roof has succumbed to the glorious scottish weather, and has sprung several leaks, to which is no longer a patch up case. We will need the roof to be done by professionals, to enable the safety of our members going forward.

So please dig deap to help this absolutely fantastic place to stay in shape, and continue to provide a safe haven for our ladies and gents, boys and girls.......
