All FOUR Kiltwalks
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Debbieanne, and I’m the proud founder of Jamie's Sanctuary.
I created this community group in loving memory of my firstborn son, Jamie, who tragically took his own life at just 20 years old after a long battle with mental health and addiction. His loss broke my heart, but I knew I couldn’t let his story end there. In Jamie’s legacy, I set out to help other young people who are fighting the same silent battles—struggling with mental health, addiction, and suicidal thoughts.
We now run a weekly drop-in service at our local community centre in Whitburn, West Lothian, where we partner with dedicated professionals to provide a safe space for young people aged 18-28 to seek support, guidance, and hope. Our group is growing every week, and we’ve already witnessed so many incredible success stories. But with this growth comes the need for more resources to continue making a real difference.
We’re not a registered charity and rely solely on fundraising to keep this vital service going.
This year, in Jamie’s honor, our team is taking on all FOUR Kiltwalks to raise awareness and much-needed funds to sustain Jamie's Sanctuary. We need your support to keep this mission alive.
➡️ Every donation, no matter how small, helps us provide life-changing support to young people in need.
➡️ Even if you can’t donate, sharing this link could make a huge impact for us, our volunteers, and the families we serve.
Strength in Numbers, Always.
With love and gratitude,
Debbieanne, Jamie’s Mum
