A Little Super Cooper
Donation protected
My wife and I have been trying to have kids for the past five years with no success. About a year ago I went to a fertility specialist and found that both of my vas deferens had been severed. Through reasonable deduction we figured this happened when I was an infant during surgery to repair two hernias. While the testing is mainly covered by insurance, the only method for us to conceive (in vitro) is not.
While we generally don't talk of our struggle around others, we see the pain in each other's eyes when we see a little child's smile, laugh, or cry. We are strong individuals but this is a painful burden that we carry.
I am not sure how much this process will cost but estimates of in vitro range from $10,000 to $18,000.
We are grateful for any donations we receive whether it be monetary or in the form of advice.
Thanks for reading our story and we will try to keep you updated as we try to have our first little one.
