Three years ago, Alisa Cross was diagnosed with stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. She had two rounds of chemo and radiation along with numerous other treatments followed by colorectal surgery. She then spent 2 months in the hospital from E.coli and Staph infections from the procedures. Later she had another round of Laser by the Knife radiation treatment for her liver.

Unfortunately, she was recently told that the cancer appears to have spread in her liver and at least one lung, along with a strong possibility of other regions. Her last shot (which should have been the first shot, but due to financial hardship we went with the local Alaska treatment option) she will be going to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in a few weeks for a series of tests and treatments, which will likely include removing half of her liver and require return visits or more chemotherapy. She needs help paying for travel and medical bills and will probably miss a significant amount of work. We are looking at multiple trips with airfares, hotels, dog boarding, etc. along with lost wages. Medicaid and Disability took six months to approve her last time and with her determination and focus to return to work prematurely this is hurting her financially even more now.

We are thankful for the many donations and prayers from so many and, by the grace of God, she is still with us.
