Ali secure and rebuild a safe home for his family

Dear supporters,
My name is Ali Abu Ibaid, and I am from Gaza City, Palestine. I am reaching out to ask for your kind support for my family during these dire times.

On October 7th, our lives were turned upside down. We were displaced, forced to flee to the south of Gaza along with many other Gazans. My family, which includes my five sisters, five brothers, and their children—over 30 of us—found refuge in a shelter made of tents and nylons. The conditions are harsh, with freezing winters and scorching summers making survival extremely difficult. We desperately need humanitarian aid for Gaza.

The key aim for this campaign is to secure a simple home for the family even if it will be made of steel or mobile home like caravan however since the prices are very high and the closure is still on Gaza for the entry of building items, this seems to be impossible but with your support we can secure funds to buy construction items which are of high prices in Gaza or even it this was not possible we need to rent a place for the family while currently renting a place is expensive since few buildings remain in Gaza due to mass destruction.

Going back when the conflict intensified, we were again forced to relocate. My extended family of 55 people, including nephews, nieces, and uncles, had to abandon our makeshift homes of tents, nylon, and cloth.
We have endured unimaginable horrors. The sound of missiles haunts us daily.
Now the war is theoretically is over but suffering still continues in every single day due to lack of dignified shelter and safe place.

The family now live in tents and used to struggle for food and water in a relentless way. During the last 2 years, we have relied on open fires for cooking, scavenging for wood each morning as cooking gas is scarce. Emergency relief for Gaza is crucial for our survival.
The most dehumanizing aspect has been the lack of toilets, forcing us to avoid eating to minimize the need.
Our suffering intensified when my apartment was bombed. I had worked tirelessly to buy that home, only to see everything destroyed or stolen by the Israeli army. My bed, clothes, books, and kitchen utensils—all gone. Now, my extended family lives in tents in Khanyounis, with minimal aid for food or medication and no ability to work. Rebuilding homes in Gaza is essential for our recovery.
I have lost more than 90 persons of my family who have been killed during the war, in addition our lives in tents is unbearable at all after our homes were destroyed.
As you can see from the pictures, my brother's home was also completely destroyed, leaving the children to live in tents.
There have been moments during this war when I wished for death to escape this endless suffering. We have lost everything and live in constant uncertainty.
