Alfie is volunteering in Tanzania!

Hi, I’m Alfie, and I need your help to make a difference!

I’m so excited to share that I’ve been given an amazing opportunity to volunteer as a teacher in a school in Tanzania with Projects Abroad. This experience will allow me to support children’s education, work alongside local teachers, and hopefully make a real impact in their lives.

Many schools in Tanzania face big challenges, like overcrowded classrooms, limited resources, and not enough teachers. By volunteering, I’ll be able to assist with lessons, bring fresh ideas and energy to the classroom, and help give students the attention they need to learn and grow.

I feel that volunteering in a community and ‘giving back’ is really important – but I can’t do it alone. To make this trip happen, I need to raise funds to cover training, travel, accommodation, placement fees, and teaching materials. To help reach my goal, I’ll be organizing fundraising events, including a Tanzania-themed night, an auction, and online sales.
