Alex's Polar Express Eagle Scout Project

My name is Alex Cropper. I am a Life Scout in Troop 69 from Yorktown, Indiana. To attain the highest rank in Scouting, the Eagle Scout, I must complete a community service project, called an Eagle Project. This project requires the scout to acquire funds and oversee the building of a project.

For my Eagle Project, I will be turning a school bus into the Polar Express Train Engine benefitting Community Christmas in Union City, Indiana. Community Christmas plans to use the engine to transport underprivileged children to see Santa and have hot chocolate (like in the movie). This project can get very expensive, so I am hoping to raise some money to offset the cost. I am hoping to raise $5000 for materials. Any money leftover will go to Community Christmas for operating costs. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Thanks your support.
