Alex’s Leukaemia Journey

We never thought we would be in a position to ask for help in this kind of situation but unfortunately here we are.

On Thursday night Alex went to his GP for a routine blood test which showed a very abnormal result. He was sent to A&E where they repeated bloods and confirmed at only 25 years old, he has Leukaemia.

On Monday he will be having a bone marrow extract to find out which type of blood cancer he has and he will be waiting for the results to find out what type of treatment he can have. He has already started on a tablet form of chemotherapy and luckily so far is responding well.

Alex and his partner Carly are both such hard working people and both own their own businesses which have now been put on hold for the foreseeable and have no income. They have a beautiful baby girl Bella who isn’t even 2 years old yet.

Due to now having no income, being stuck in hospital for god knows how long now and still having to pay their mortgage and rent on his workplace, we are asking for any help you can give to support, not only will this be one less thing for them to worry about in the most distressing time of their lives but will also support Bella’s nursery fees and food shopping etc.

We are all praying for the best outcome possible for Alex, his family and his daughter ❤️‍
