Hi everyone!

We are Alex and Dylan, and we’re raising funds for Cancer Society Ireland. To support this cause, we’re hosting a 5k Jog Event on the 15th of febuary. The venue will be announced closer to the date, but we’d love for you to join us or support us in any way you can.

Cancer is a reality that touches almost all of us. Did you know that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime? It’s a statistic that highlights how widespread and devastating this disease is—not just for those diagnosed but also for their loved ones.

For Alex, this cause is deeply personal. His mother faced one of the most challenging cancers, one that so many people don’t survive. But through her relentless fighting spirit and unwavering hope, she beat the odds and became part of the 1% who overcome it. Her journey inspires us to raise awareness and support for others going through similar battles.

We also believe that the challenges faced by those affected by cancer—physical, emotional, and financial—are not talked about enough. That’s why we want to hear your stories. Whether you’ve personally battled cancer or supported a loved one, your experiences matter. Sharing them can create a sense of community and understanding for everyone impacted by this disease.

All funds raised will go directly to Cancer Society Ireland, helping them continue their critical work in research, support services, and advocacy for those affected.
