Alexa's Mission Trip Fund

Close to a year ago, I traveled to a third-world country with a first-world mentality: "I'm going to change these people's lives." Within a day, I knew that this outlook was completely wrong, and that the amazing people of Hoyo de Perez were going to change my life for the best. 
In the summer of 2014, I participated in the Belen Youth Missions trip to the Dominican Republic to build a bridge for a small town in desperate need of our help. Over the 10 days that I was there, I became accquainted with some of the most selfless human beings that I have ever met, bonded with peers, poured cement, translated conversations, helped doctors, jumped off rocks, ate countless fresh fruits, and woke up at the crack of dawn to milk a cow. 
This fall I will be starting my college career, and I have made it a goal of mine to participate in this summer's BYM trip before I leave home. I need the help of friends, family, accquaintences, etc. in order to make this happen. It would mean the world to me to experience this life changing mission once again. Any amount of money will help tremondously. Thank you in advance for supporting my mission.
