For my bat mitzvah project, I am raising money for my former acting troop, Rise Up Theater. I have been part of Rise Up since third grade, and it has helped me gain confidence and learn how to audition and be part of real musical theater productions!

Rise Up Theater's mission is to inspire elementary school students to become lifelong supporters of musical theater or even seek opportunities for a career in the arts.

Rise Up Theater is not run through the school, so they do not get funding from Fairfax County. All costs for renting the stage, costumes, and people to help with various jobs, are paid through private donations.
