Heya! My name is Alexandria Dunne, I’m 20 years old.
I'm really excited to be starting a 6-month Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Circuit Riders/YWAM in Huntington Beach, California this fall!
What is Circuit Riders?
Circuit Riders is a YWAM mission passionate about reaching the next generation with the Gospel and inspiring them to live Christ-centered lives. The mission equips young people to boldly and dynamically share their faith through training and discipleship, with a special emphasis on reaching high school and college campuses around the world.
At the heart of this movement is the mission to save the lost, revive the saved, and train them all.
What I'll be doing:
The first half of the school is the lecture phase, where I'll live in Huntington Beach, attend classes and worship nights, and discipled and trained in my stream Messengers. Where I'll learn essential leadership skills, in preaching and evangelism; how to share the gospel with clarity, boldness, and relevance. Preparing me for the last three months of my DTS the Outreach Phase/Mission, which will be in either Europe or across the United States. with The Carry the Love track which focuses on reaching college campuses with the love of Christ. Through this program, I’ll be part of a team travelling to universities, hosting events, sharing the gospel, and encouraging students to live fully for Jesus. It’s a chance to spark hope, build community, and inspire young people to pursue their God-given purpose.
I’m excited to see how God will move in this next stage of my life as I walk in obedience to Him. The Lord has already worked powerfully in my life this past year while I’ve been on a discipleship year at my church in London. He has taught me so much about Himself, my identity in Christ, and my calling.
I really love Jesus, and I want others to experience His love and what it's like to have a relationship with Him. Recently, I’ve felt God placing a burden on my heart for missions, particularly for reaching Gen-Z with the gospel. My heart is to see souls saved and lives transformed by Jesus. I’m really looking forward to what God is going to do in this next chapter!
However, I can’t do this alone! To make this possible, I need to raise £9,000 by August 1st. This will cover the costs of flights, tuition, accommodation, food, and other travel expenses. Below is a breakdown of the costs:
Accommodation and lecture fees: $4,200 (£3,340)
Outreach fees and housing during outreach: $4,000 (£3,180)
Flights, food, local travel, and other expenses: $3,130 (£2,486)
