Hello! My name is Alex Weems and I am a Life Scout in Troop 1, Torrington CT. I am fundraising for my Eagle Project. My project is construction of a 12'x16' enclosed hay storage shed for a local Animal Rescue, Stoney Brook Farms. It is a nonprofit animal rescue that saves horses and other animals including cows, chickens, pigs, turkeys, sheep, peacocks and others in need. They have had issues with people and animals stealing food in the past and this food shed will help them prevent this, and keep the hay dry.
The money raised will be used to buy materials such as screws, lumber, and metal roofing to construct the shed.
Any amount of money donated will be greatly appreciated to help me achieve my goal of becoming an Eagle Scout.
