Sadly, Alex the vet -- our very own Dr Dolittle -- is moving to pastures new. After a decade of volunteering with the FoWP she is moving from her home in North London to Hull.

We will miss her hugely as she's always thrown herself in to whatever we were engaged in, often doing the jobs we couldn't do -- like clambering up trees to cable the concerts, or offering a free Vet advice stall at the dog show.

There'll be a farewell lunch for her on the 5th February in Lux's conservatory and April and I thought that would be a good moment to give her a little gift to say thank you.

She was passionate about her garden in Wembley and we thought a universal garden centre gift voucher, to help her start her new garden off would not be unwelcome. If you would like to contribute please do so anonymously so nobody is put under any obligation.
