St.Fintan's High School, Sutton - Run & Walk for Alex

On Wednesday the 30th of April 2025 the students of St Fintan’s High School will take part in a school walk for our 6th student Alex McEleney, who continues his battle with cancer. Funds raised will go towards Alex’s family.

Alex is a 6th year student who has been battling cancer since he was eleven. This is an opportunity for our school community to support someone who represents all the positive traits of a St Fintan’s High School student.

Throughout his treatment Alex has shown huge courage & care for those around him. In TY Alex created a book to raise awareness and support for children living with cancer and their families. Outside of school he acts as a spokesperson for many cancer charities such as Daisy Lodge & Cancer Fund for Children.
