Life can change in an instant. A few days ago, our friend and loved one, Alex Barillas, was involved in a devastating motorcycle accident with a big rig. It’s the kind of moment that splits life into a before and after—and by the grace of God, Alex is still with us.

Alex suffered multiple severe injuries and is now beginning a long and incredibly difficult road to recovery. The journey ahead will include surgeries, rehab, and months of healing. While we are grateful he survived, his ability to work and provide for his family has been severely impacted.

Alex is not just a father — he is the primary provider for his family, a dad whose world revolves around his two beautiful daughters and young son. Anyone who knows Alex knows how hard he works, how deeply he loves his wife and kids, and how much pride he takes in caring for his family.
