Growing up in Santa Maria, I have enjoyed many good times with family and friends with a BBQ. I am hoping to give this same opportunity to those less fortunate in my community.
The Shelter provides over 150 dinners per day with the help of over 40 community organizations. In addition to the Good Samaritan, the Community Action Commission produces 3,000 meals per day from the same kitchen. They are equally excited to have a BBQ pit to provide meals to seniors, at risk youth and other members of the community. Once this BBQ pit is installed, it will be utilized at least once a week.
Thank you for your support in making this project a reality and for helping to provide something special for those less fortunate in our community.
