On April 2nd, 2021, the world lost an incredibly bright light in Shannon. To know Shannon was to love her. An incredible mother, friend, daughter, neighbor, and colleague, she had a tremendous heart and would go out of her way to help anyone who needed it. She was an incredibly hard worker who always put her two sons above all else.

Her twelve year old son, Alante, is now navigating the world in her memory. Alante is beloved by every person to cross his path. He has been a leader in his family and classroom community for his kindness, compassion, dedication, and resilience.
