Allan's Fundraiser: Let's get Allan a car!

You’ve probably noticed the absence of the pipa cart, the sound of “OOOOOoooo Pipas Pipas,” and Allan’s genuine smile at La Feria these past weeks. Our friend Allan is currently facing sudden facial paralysis, which has left him unable to work at his primary job in Nicoya or come to Samara to sell pipas for the next few months. He also had to sell his car close to a year ago and has been riding the bus with all the coconuts, which has left him unable to come as often or carry as much. If you know Allan you know he is truly a treasured, kind, noble, member of this community, and if you don’t we hope you see him around town soon!

We would love to come together as a community to raise funds to support him while he recovers—and hopefully help him get a reliable means of transportation for when he returns.
