A’laiya’s Road To recovery…

Hello my name is Tierra, Im making this fundraiser in deep sadness of my Latest Daughter A’laiya Kalani she is currently 2 years old. And before this tragedy she was the most Happiest and Healthy toddler . On 11/3/2022 A’laiya was brought into childrens hospital in concern of her sickness and heavy abnormal breathing. She was seen in the E.R of the emergency room where they diagnosed her as just having a rsv virus as well as alot of other children that was being seen in the E.R . Me and my mom suggested that the nurses in the E.R should x-Ray her because of her breathing issues. They suggested it wasn’t as bad for them to do X-Rays and the virus would fight itself off as time by and letting me and my mom know that basically there’s no cure for the virus…So for that she was discharged with further instructions for at home care with the virus . On 11/5/22 she was rushed by ambulance to the hospital because her symptoms had gotten worse . Her stomach was larger than normal and her breathing seemed to be breath taking and very hard for her to breathe. When I picked her up it hurt her side so I knew something was wrong. When we made it to the E.r and the doctors seen these symptoms they immediately starting working on my baby. They did x-rays and immediately found fluid surrounding her lungs and her heart. Her heart rate was also low. They had to sedate her they drained a half quart of fluid from her lungs in the ER. They didnt know what was the cause of all of this they just kept telling us our baby is really sick and they potentially thought it was pneumonia on top of her virus , also her heart stopped in the er and she was resuscitated ….she got admitted and was moved upstairs of the hospital where we sat in the waiting room for hours … they told us they Had to resuscitate my baby twice, her heart was very weak and not pumping as it should . A surgeon came in and spoke with us stating her best move was to do open heart surgery to save my baby’s life. They needed a machine to help pump her heart and lungs because of the sickness it was just so weak to pump on its own….. the surgery went ok. She’s now in stable condition. And words from her doctors is she’s still veryyyy sick and has a long ways to go. They detected its not pneumonia but my baby has caught 3 different virus which causes her to be this sick including the rsv…. She is currently in a medical coma and praying that the best will happen out of this situation….I am a single Hard working Mother of 3 beautiful girls and this situation is so unfortunate for us. With all that is going on I need to be by my baby side every step of the way which will cause me to step down from the jobs that are benefiting me and my family financially. Im a full time mommy , a part time caregiver and I love to do hair as a passion . Im very grateful for prayers, kind words, and condolences. I never ask anyone for anything and I put my pride to the side when Im doing this because I am always a giver and I love helping others. These monetary gifts will be used for everyday expenses and support with my other 2 oldest daughters that is currently with my mom while I’m By A’laiya’s side. Im grateful for anything.
