Alaina's Fight: A Mother and Nurse Needs Us

Dear Family and Friends,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our beloved sister, Alaina.

In October 2024, Alaina became critically ill. What began as an unexplained sickness led to multiple hospitalizations and the loss of her job and health insurance. Doctors eventually discovered a severe bacterial infection that caused a hole in her intestine, flooding her body with acid and toxins.

A few weeks ago, her condition worsened. On April 25, 2025, Alaina was placed on a ventilator and dialysis after becoming septic. She’s now fighting for her life in a San Diego hospital, far from home.

Alaina is the heart of our family—a single mother of three, a proud grandmother of two, a devoted daughter and sister, friend to many and a nurse for over 12 years. She’s always been the one caring for others. Now, she needs us.

We’re raising funds to help with medical bills, her living expenses, travel expenses, and the cost of her children to visit her. As they haven’t seen her in a month. Any amount you can give will ease the enormous financial burden and help comfort and support Alaina in this critical time.
