Al Di La Trattoria Family Fund

Dear friends and patrons of al di la Trattoria and al di la Café, we need your help! In order to help fight the aggressive spread of COVID-19, we were forced to reduce operations to takeout and delivery orders only. This means that all but two employees from the kitchen staff as well as all of the bartenders, bussers, servers, and baristas in al di la’s staff woke up on March 16th to the unsettling news that their jobs have been placed on hold without a return date.

al di la’s team is comprised of many long-term employees, as you may know if you are one of our wonderful ‘regulars’. When we are allowed to return to standard operations, our hope is that our entire staff will be able to come back as intact as possible. With the uncertain future that we all are facing right now and many of our staff members scrambling to find ways to support their families at this time, that simply may not be possible. However, if we are able to build a fund that can be distributed among our staff while we wait out this storm, that would greatly improve our chances of keeping the al di la family together.

We realize that we are not alone in this crisis and that many of you are struggling as well. If you happen to have a little extra, though, and wouldn’t mind adding to our fund, we would be forever grateful. If you have ever been impressed by the excellent technique of our kitchen staff and developed a friendly rapport with members of our service team, would you please consider offering a contribution. All of these acts of kindness will allow us to not only survive during this scary time but also  more easily plan our return to business as usual.
