Our beautiful daughter has just turned 18 and has recently been diagnosed with Stage Two Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Nothing prepares you for hearing the word “cancer,” especially when it’s your child.
She is due to begin chemotherapy in mid-January, but before treatment can start, we have been advised that she urgently needs to undergo IVF egg preservation. Chemotherapy can permanently affect fertility, and this process gives her the chance to have choices and hope for the future once she is healthy again.
Unfortunately, this process comes with a significant cost. The minimum expense for egg preservation is $15,000, and it must be completed in a very short timeframe before chemotherapy begins. This cost is not fully covered, and the urgency leaves us with very limited options.
As parents, all we want is to protect our daughter — not just through her treatment, but also her future. Asking for help does not come easily, but right now we are focused on giving her every possible chance at a full life beyond cancer.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial pressure during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or keeping her in your thoughts means more than we can say.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and love during this journey.
