Help Family with Legal Fees

Two weeks ago, George was arrested and is currently incarcerated. When this happened, I immediately contacted an attorney and paid the attorney $5000 to represent George. However, after being given the run around, by this attorney, for two weeks, I sought other legal services. After doing so, I received information that there is no court documentation of any attorney representation. That $5000 is a loss, because the funds were non refundable, resulting in the depletion of our savings.

Fortunately, a new attorney has been selected to fight these charges. This attorney has been very transparent and proactive in providing the necessary services needed to fight the legal problems George is currently facing. More has been done in 2 days, without an official retainer, than the previous attorney has done in the last two weeks, even after receiving the retainer.

The cost of this representation is $20,000 to secure his release and fight the charges.

George's inability to work, due to being incarcerated, has caused a severe hardship on the family. In addition, he has medical issues that the family is also concerned about. As we all know, there is a history of medical neglect in the prison system, which can lead to serious consequences.

In his life time, he’s been a hardworking, caregiving person and has never been in any type of trouble. He has a history of being a mentor to youth in his family and neighborhood.

We are asking for funds to help with this $20,000 fee to get George released and his name cleared.
