EDIT - due to a leg injury in July 2023 - I’m doing the same event in 2024! Midnight man I’m coming for you, and doing the London marathon en route!

On 10 August 2024  I’m competing in the “Midnight Man” which is an Ironman distance triathlon, consisting;

2.4 mile lake swim

112 miles cycling through the night

Followed my 26.2 miles (marathon distance) running

The race starts at 6pm on Saturday evening and continues through the night - I hope to finish in about 12-14 hours so sometime early on Sunday morning.

I am hoping to raise some money for 3rd Orpington Scout Group (which is a registered charity) in doing so, where all much needed funds will go towards scouting activities for children aged 6-18 and I would really appreciate a donation, no matter how big or small in support of my challenge.

I’m looking for your sponsorship, not least because what I’m doing is hard, but mainly because 3rd Orpington scouts need your help to continue providing excellent scouting for our members.
