Dulce Maria, de 11 anos, reside em Portugal desde os 3 anos de idade. A família mudou-se junta para o país há 8 anos, onde a criança construiu sua rotina, escola e vínculos afetivos.

Durante as férias escolares, Dulce viajou com o pai para o seu país de nascimento, com autorização expressa da mãe e passagens de ida e volta compradas. No entanto, poucos dias antes da data prevista para o retorno, o pai informou à criança e à mãe que não regressaria a Portugal, decidindo permanecer em outro país com a criança, contrariando o acordo previamente estabelecido.

A mãe viajou ao Brasil para tentar estar com a filha, mas encontrou grandes dificuldades para exercer esse direito, enfrentando custos elevados de viagem e despesas adicionais, sem conseguir ainda garantir o retorno da filha.

Desde então, Dulce Maria encontra-se afastada da mãe e do país onde vive há 8 anos. Enquanto as aulas recomeçavam em Portugal, o retorno da criança não foi autorizado, e o pai iniciou uma disputa judicial no Brasil, obrigando a mãe a buscar medidas legais urgentes em mais de um país.

Esta campanha tem como objetivo ajudar a custear as despesas legais que se acumulam em Portugal e no Brasil, além dos custos de manter sozinha a casa da família em Portugal. Parte das contribuições também será usada para pagar mensalidades escolares em atraso, garantindo que Dulce não perca a vaga nem a bolsa de estudos em sua escola e possa retomar sua rotina com segurança e estabilidade.

Toda ajuda será fundamental para que a mãe consiga garantir os direitos da filha, viabilizar sua recuperação e permitir que ambas possam retornar para casa juntas, com segurança e dignidade.

Dulce Maria, 11 years old, has lived in Portugal since she was 3. The family moved together to the country 8 years ago, where the child built her routine, schooling, and emotional bonds.

During school holidays, Dulce traveled with her father to her country of birth, with the mother’s express authorization and round-trip tickets purchased. However, a few days before the scheduled return date, the father informed both the child and the mother that he would not return to Portugal, deciding to remain in another country with the child, in violation of the previously established agreement.

The mother traveled to Brazil in an attempt to be with her daughter, but encountered major difficulties in exercising this right, facing high travel costs and additional expenses, without yet being able to secure her daughter’s return.

Since then, Dulce Maria has been separated from her mother and from the country where she has lived for the past 8 years. As school resumed in Portugal, the child’s return was not authorized, and the father initiated legal proceedings in Brazil, forcing the mother to seek urgent legal measures in more than one country.

This campaign aims to help cover the accumulating legal expenses in Portugal and Brazil, as well as the costs of maintaining the family home alone in Portugal. Part of the contributions will also be used to pay overdue school fees, ensuring that Dulce does not lose her place or scholarship at her school and can safely and stably resume her routine.

Every form of help will be essential so that the mother can secure her daughter’s rights, make her recovery possible, and allow both of them to return home together, with safety and dignity.
