AJ's Angels - HeForShe, UN Women

Hi, I'm AJ and I'm a musician, film maker and audio creator for Quinn. For International Women's Day 2025, I've decided to donate all my Quinn fees for the month of March to HeForShe - the United Nations global solidarity movement for gender equality.

Recently we've been looking for ways to mobilise as a community, and use our incredible unity as a force for good. I've been looking for a charity which uniquely aligns with my community's mission, and HeForShe fulfils this need for me.

Being in my position brings a number of specific challenges and responsibilities. I'm surrounded by women in my work, and I've learned over the last year or so that my community looks to me to speak out as an ally and use my position - as a man - to tackle women's issues. I am one man in a community of thousands of women, and I have a job to do to represent my community as an ally and a spokesman.

This is where we align with HeForShe; by encouraging men to use their voices to fight for gender equality.
