At the heart of our cause is the story of Andrew Joseph III, a vibrant 14-year-old whose life was tragically cut short while walking home from a school-supported event after being unlawfully detained by law enforcement. His death sparked the creation of the Andrew Joseph Foundation (AJF) — an organization born of pain, anchored by mission, and propelled by purpose.
Our vision is simple yet profound: every child deserves to live in a world where they are safe, valued, protected, and empowered. AJF works tirelessly to:
- Educate youth and families about their rights, conflict resolution, and non-violent communication.
- Advocate for systemic change so that tragedy like Andrew’s never happens again.
- Support families impacted by children’s rights violations.
