AJ & Dylan's Galway NICU fundraiser

Dylan & AJ are turning one on the 5th & 6th April respectively. After arriving prematurely, the boys spent the first few weeks of their lives in the care of Galway NICU after transfer from Holles Street. Anne/Billy (Dylan's parents) & Tony/Jessica (AJ's parents) want to both thank the Galway NICU for the exceptional care they received & also celebrate the boys reaching the big one after a challenging start.
We have contacted & received permission from the Galway NICU to proceed with the following fundraising event.
We will complete the distance of the journey we all took last year! That journey was from Galway to Holles street & from Holles street back to Galway. This is a total of 420km..
We have a team of friends & family who will walk/run in their own areas to help us complete the 420km on the weekend of 3rd & 4th April.
In addition to km completed over the weekend Anne, Billy, Dylan, Tony, Jessica & AJ will complete the final stretch of the journey on Sunday 4th April from Salthill to UCHG ( restrictions allowing).
We have requested that the money raised will be used to provide a family room to help families who experience the NICU journey.
The NICU environment can be very overwhelming & a family room would be of great benefit to give some much needed respite to families.
