On the night of July 22 around 11 PM, my brother was the victim of a tragic hit-and-run accident. While still in shock and trying to process what had happened, the police opened his car door. He asked the responding officers to please close it because his beloved dog was still inside. Unfortunately, they failed to do so, and his dog ran out and was tragically killed by another vehicle. Despite everything, my brother was rushed to the hospital and treated for his critical injuries.

Now, he’s left without his best friend, without a car, and facing mounting medical bills all due to a reckless driver’s speeding and police negligence. The emotional toll is extremely overwhelming.
