Aiden’s Baseball Gear Fund: A Father’s Plea

Hello. Some of you may not think this is a correct way to use gofundme, so move along. I'm in a bind and could use a little help for my son.

My son, Aiden, worked his tail off. He was cut from the baseball team last year and it crushed him. He's busted his butt with camps, playing big in other leagues, etc.

He just had tryouts and I told him if he made the team, I'd get him new gear that he needs. He plays catcher so it's all the pads, and he needs a bigger bat. I had no idea how expensive this stuff was.

He made the team and now I'm screwed. I can't afford it. Not due to frivolous spending, paycheck to paycheck it's bills and expenses with my cancer treatment.

And any of you can help out at all, that would be great. Aside from the work he's put in, he's such a genuinely sweet and kind young man. He absolutely deserves this and I don't want to disappoint.
